In more detail
Its service terms, governed by English law, cover both contract-based eBLs, whose effect rests on the terms agreed by all users, and law-enabled eBLs recognised under statutes such as the UK Electronic Trade Documents Act 2023. The International Group of P&I Clubs lists it as an approved system; its interoperability, including with ICE CargoDocs since 19 March 2025, rests on IQAX's own interoperable addendum and bilateral or multilateral platform agreements rather than the DCSA Standard Annex.
