In more detail
Its legal effect rests on the Electronic Title User Agreement, a multilateral private contract based on English common law that all users sign. The International Group of P&I Clubs lists it as an approved system; as at 16 October 2026, DCSA does not name it among platforms that have implemented the DCSA Standard Annex for eBL Platform Interoperability.
